UPDATE: Due to the current public health situation, this event and Lower Merion Family Biking Day have been postponed.
On March 14, Healthy Haverford is meeting at Lower Merion Family Biking Day to kick off Haverford's first ever Kidical Mass!
WHAT IS KIDICAL MASS?
"Kidical Mass is a legal, safe and FUN bike ride for kids, kids at heart, and their families. The first ride was held in April 2008 in Eugene, Oregon and has now spread to over a dozen communities throughout North America and beyond. The rides are meant to be family friendly bike rides through a community." - Source

Facebook Event Click Here
Meet at MECHANIC / bicycle pro shop at 11 am where the group will go through a short bicycle equipment and group ride safety briefing. Learn about how to take more trips by bicycle in Lower Merion and get connected with folks already family biking in our area.
The group will ride on the sidewalk to the corner of Station Rd and Lancaster Avenue where we will briefly discuss the new bicycle/pedestrian changes to this important intersection. We will cross Lancaster Avenue as a group on the cross walk with the light, ferried by additional volunteers for added safety. The group will then roll through Haverford College Campus at a friendly social pace, finishing at The Cricket Field for a group photo.
