ENVE Composites

Made in Ogden, By Hand

ENVE started in 2005 as Edge Composites, renamed itself ENVE in 2010, and has spent two decades building every wheel and component out of the same facility in Ogden, Utah. When conventional wisdom said carbon rims couldn't be made competitively in the U.S., ENVE built the company anyway.

Every ENVE rim is still hand-laid there, by technicians who train for six months before they're certified to touch a production mold. That's a tradeoff ENVE makes on purpose: fewer wheels, made to a standard most factories can't match.

The mission hasn't changed since day one: make cycling more enjoyable through superior composite design. It's why the same rim shows up under WorldTour teams and weekend riders alike — no different standard depending on who's buying it.
