Confluence is Salsa's light electric gravel bike, built for squeezing more adventure into each day. The name comes from the idea of a confluence — a junction of two rivers, or of any two things merging together, like pedal power and electric assist. A quiet hub-drive motor delivers low-torque assistance so you can chase gravel farther, carry gear for any mission, and ride with geometry tuned for comfort and stability at higher ebike speeds — on routes you might not otherwise attempt.
Features
- MAHLE X30 rear hub-drive motor — Class 1, 45Nm max torque, three assist levels, nearly silent and discreet
- 237Wh internal downtube battery (up to roughly 45 miles of range), expandable to 421Wh with an optional range extender
- 6061-T6 aluminum frame paired with a carbon fiber fork for a lighter, smoother ride
- On-bike cargo mounts (rack and Three-Pack bosses) with a 350 lb gross payload capacity
- Clearance for 700c x 50mm tires, fender-compatible
- UL 2849 / UL 2271 certified for battery and electrical system safety
