Journeyer is one of Salsa's most popular gravel bikes, built as a do-it-all platform for daily rides, dirt exploration, and gravel racing. It's designed to feel comfortable, stable, and confidence-inspiring whether you're entering your first gravel race, exploring dirt paths around town, or venturing into unfamiliar terrain — spirited when you want it to be, but relaxed enough to leave you with the energy for long rides.
Features
- 6061-T6 aluminum frame, heat-treated to T6 alloy standards for extra strength and durability
- Gravel-tuned geometry that balances a lively feel with all-day comfort
- Carbon fork (Waxwing V2 on later builds) with Three-Pack mounts and mid-blade rack mounts for big tire clearance and cargo capacity
- Dual wheel-size compatibility, accepting both 700c and 650b wheels and tires
- Front and rear rack mounts, fork Three-Pack mounts, top tube and down tube mounts for racks, fenders, and accessories
- Internally routed cables that improve shifting performance in poor conditions and extend maintenance intervals
