Warbird is Salsa's gravel race bike, inspired by years of gravel riding and racing experience and designed for compliance, stability, and confidence on rough terrain. The name comes from the unbeatable feeling of soaring down a gravel road — a feeling akin to piloting a nimble vintage aircraft, the kind often called a “warbird.”
Features
- Carbon frame built around 700c wheels, paired with the Waxwing (or Waxwing Deluxe) fork
- Class 5 VRS: bowed seatstays flex for compliance over rough gravel while horizontally oriented chainstays resist torque for lateral stiffness
- On-Bike Storage: frame and fork mounts for extra bottles, repair kits, camping gear, and ride accessories
- Frame and fork engineered to hold up to the rugged adventures you put them through
- Drivetrain builds spanning Shimano GRX 610/820 to SRAM Rival, Force AXS Wide, and Rival XPLR AXS, so racers and all-day riders alike can find their spec
